Start out from Fes and head to the town of Ouezzin, famous for its Berber carpets, before stopping in the peaceful town of Chefchaouen. Explore the 15th-century restored Kasbah and the charming medina before spending the night. Spend the next day leisurely hiking through the cedar forests of the area, exploring the local flora and fauna, before once again spending the night in Chefchaouen. The next day, head north to the port city that was once a country in and of itself, Tangier, to spend some time before heading down the coast a bit to the quiet community of Asilah for the night. The next morning, head to Morocco’s capital, Rabat, to visit the unfinished Hassan Tower, pay your respects at the mausoleum of Mohammed V, and explore the sprawling residential complex that is the Kasbah Oudaya. The next morning, travel to Morocco’s largest city, the famed Casablanca, home to the second largest mosque in the world, the Hassan II Mosque. That afternoon, you have the option of returning to Fes, or continuing on to Marrakech.
