Head to the seaside city of Essaouira, renowned as a haven for artists and surfing enthusiasts alike.  Spend a day and night in this peaceful town before heading down the coast to Agadir, famous for its beaches and top-rate surf.  Journey on to Lagzira, where nature has conspired to carve a natural tunnel straight into the sheer rock face.  The next day, explore the southern town of Tiznit, known for its high-quality gold and silver jewelry, before heading to the unusual and beautiful rock formations that surround the town of Tafroute.  Spend the evening in the historical crossroads town of Taradount before journeying through picturesque mountains and valleys as we follow the Tizi-n-Test pass, the second highest in Morocco, on your way back to Marrakech.

ACTIVITY LEVEL 

EASY to MODERATE: An average level of fitness or some experience with the featured activity is recommended. While some activities may be optional, you may still have to walk or hike for three to four hours daily.

ACCOMMODATIONS 

  • Standard 3 & 4 Star Riad Accommodation. This includes traditional first class Moroccan hotels and small guest homes. Continental style breakfasts are included as well as basic amenities, such as laundry, internet* and telephone. Dining options may be outside of the hotel.
