Depart from the civilization of Fes to explore the caves of Bilil, and spend the night in the tranquil Jewish community of Seffrou. The following morning, head out to spend a leisurely day in Morocco’s Lake Country, Immouzzar Kandar. End the day in the village of Azrou, which is surrounded by cedar forests known for wandering families of macaque monkeys known as Barbary Apes. The next day, head to Ben el Ouida, the second largest dam in Morocco, and one of the best sites for photographing the magnificent landscape. Spend the night in the quiet town of Beni Mellal, and the next morning, head to the mountain town of Ifrane. Rest here briefly, appreciating the spectacular mountain views, before heading back to Fes.
